Why Advance Nannies What sets Advance Nannies apart from other agencies is the commitment to caring about both the Nanny and the Family, along with the support, which is given before, during and after the placement of the caregiver. We do check up phone calls to both the caregiver and the family upon arrival in the home. These calls continue on a regular basis. In addition we supply the nanny with names and numbers of other nannies in the area. We also sponsor monthly 'Get Togethers' for the nanny in their off time. (Usually this occurs on a Sunday).

	We feel privileged to have Marla Sanders on our team. She is truly a pioneer in the in-home child care industry. In 1984 when she had trouble locating care for her own child, the idea to begin her own buisness in this field was formed. She is nationally renowned for her experience in this evolving industry. By 1987 she had taken a small Washington, D.C. based nanny agency and spread to a national level with offices in many major cities and a revenue if over $3 Million per year

Marla is a founding member of the International Nanny Association (INA) as well as having served as it's past president.

The INA offers the award of 'Nanny of the Year' to the most appropriate candidate. The photo to the right shows the recipient of the first award, Harriet Grant with Marla Sanders.

In 1991 Marla Sanders authored a book titled "How to Start Your Own Nanny Agency".

She has always been an advocate and nanny supporter. Marla has also authored a training manual for Caregiver Recruiters and she is available for training seminars. Many of her competitors have sought out her advice on numerous issues in the industry. Her ideas are innovative and creative, which helped to build her success.

	In 1994-1995, Marla Sanders sponsored a contest for 'Most Wonderful Nanny in America'. The award ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Fran Drescher, of the CBS Primetime hit sit-com 'THE NANNY' was the presenter of the award. Other cast members from 'The Nanny' were also on hand to support this prestigous event, along with numerous leaders in the Nanny Industry. Do you need more convincing...
